Vale a pena rever o curta do cineasta Mike Figgis para a coleção H&M Lanvin. Para quem não sabe, Figgis roteirizou e dirigiu o filme Leaving Las Vegas, com Nicolas Cage e Elizabeth Shue, lançado em 1995. Mas o mais curioso é que, nos anos 80, foi tecladista na primeira banda de Brian Ferry.
O estilista Jean Paul Gaultier e a modelo Naomi Campbell têm algo em comum, além da carreira fashion. Sabia? Ambos tentaram, sem sucesso, se lançar como cantores. E os dois aparecem neste vídeo sen-sa-cio-nal do single “How to do That”, dirigido em 1988 por Jean Baptiste Mondino. Nessa época, Gaultier tentava ganhar notoriedade com seus dotes musicais. E Naomi era só uma new face fazendo uma ponta num clipe. Confira o figurino absurdete, a maquiagem excessiva e os efeitos toscos, característicos da década.
Apesar de não ter emplacado uma carreira musical, Jean Paul Gaultier criou figurinos para artistas como Marilyn Mason, Kylie Minogue e, claro, Madonna, que vestiu o inesquecível sutiã de cone durante a Blond Ambition Tour, em 1990.
Acabei de ver o vídeo da campanha de verão 2011 de Reinaldo Lourenço. Achei bem bonito, simples e despretensioso. E você?
